We ask Allah to exalt the mention of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, and to gather us with him on the day of resurrection. This is the story of Hassaan Bin Thabit and the poem he recited upon embracing Islam. Hassaan Bin Thabit was titled "The Prophet's poet'. He used to defend the Prophet SAW and Islam with his poetry which he was extremely gifted with. Narrated Hassan bin Thabit Al-Ansari: I asked Abu Huraira "By Allah! Tell me the truth whether you heard the Prophet saying, 'O Hassan! Reply on behalf of Allah's Apostle. O Allah! Help him with the Holy Spirit.'" Abu Huraira said, "Yes." (Bukhari) Here is a beautiful saying from one of his poems: "I could not praise RasoolAllah (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) with my words; rather, my words were made praiseworthy by RasoolAllah (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam)"
