ABOUT THE SPEAKER -Shaykh Assim L. Alhakeem is one of the prominent propagators of Islam in English in Saudi Arabia. He is a Saudi national, born on 23 Nov,1962 and residing in Jeddah -- K.S.AHe got his B.A in linguistics from King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah on 1987, and later on he received a High diploma in Islamic studies from Umm Al Qura University in Makkah. He started his Work Experience in 1988 by working as an English teacher in High school. He then further studied Human Resources&Public Relations.Shaikh Assim is active in delivering Islamic programs in both Arabic&English. He is also a presenter for Huda TV, Peace TV and Islamic Network TV.part of the winter Qur'an dawrah 2011 program. Organized by Al Muntada Al Islami Trust, which consisted of students memorizing the Qur'an in the masjid, this was a 24 hour event that lasted for 7 days.At the end of each day there was a lecture by a guest speaker relating to the Qur'an.This lecture was: Day 7 Thursday 29th of December 2011 Companions of the Qur'an by Shaykh Assim al-Hakeem
