The hanafi fiqh channel writes in the description of their video that there are certain individuals like "Dr Zakir Naik" who say that one can touch the Quran without Wudu. I wonder Why these people didnt name a classical Scholar Like Ibn Hazam who also held the same view? It is clear that they want to defame Dr Zakir naik. Plz Comment only after watching the Complete video. There are strong evidences on both sides but Majority is of the view that Quran should be touched with Wudu. If we dont agree with our brothers that differ in a certain issue based on evidence from quran and sunnah then We Should atleast learn to respect their views because after all their view is also based on Quran and Sunnah and not on the sayings of an Imam like the Blind Muqallids do. refer to islamqa.com for fatawa of classical scholars based on Quran And Sunnah. Note My Intention is not to defame any scholar, im a former hanafi and i have alot of respect for alot of hanafi scholars, but when some hanafi makes absurd claims and allegations... then i am bound to reply. Similarly in this video they showed Zakir naik's misquotation as if its his 'Fatwa' but in reality he agrees with a 'Group of Scholars' that say that we can touch the Quran without Wudu.
