A Yemeni child with a very rare condition died hours after his birth in the city of Radaa, Al-Bayda Governorate.

The child was born with one eye, one eye socket and one optic nerve. He was transferred to nursery and observation immediately after his birth, but he died after his condition stabilized for a few hours. There was controversy over his rare condition.
