Following the destruction of Muslim cemetery by the government officials, tension is mounting inside Adigrat. Thousands have gathered inside the grand mosque of Adigrat to discuss the matter in a deep sorrow and mourning. As hundreds of families attempted to retrieve their deceased family members remains, the were about of the corpses turn out to be mysterious. According to the witness in Adigrat, there is a huge army presence in the city, the electricity for the mosque has been disconnected, the water turned off, some figures among the Muslim community were arrested.
